Forget about what other people will do or not do. You put your basic safe guards in place and forget about them till you have to review them - that's about as much as anybody can do about others trying to get their hands on what is yours. People usually only get taken when they step outside of their rules & processes they used to get successful in the first place.

Then focus all your efforts on what you want and you will find like minded people with similar interests. By doing what it takes to be successful will bring you into contact with other successful people, constant success = constant contact = friendship = surrounded by like minded people.
