What is the best way to start with Forex

I'm thinking of investing in Forex, and i have no clue what to do, so i have several questions and i appreciate the help:

1. What is the best way to start learning Forex for an engineer with no economical background? (i.e. i don't understand the real meaning of inflation for example, and also dunno what does it mean that a currency would be backed up with gold, that's not all, but these are examples to make u have an idea about the lack of knowledge i'm suffering)

2. If the best way is with a book, or an e-learning program what are they?

3. Should i attend a course for a trader? if yes, which trader gives robust courses in Egypt?

4. What is the best trading platform i should deal with in ur opinion? should i deal with ones residing and doing business in Egypt? or the online ones are better?

5. What are the risks involved?

6. "not a critical question" for an advanced user, what do u think would be the best way to continue education and maximize profits?

7. if i reached the advanced level, should i change the platform i'm dealing with?

i would appreciate that you include the question number when you answer it as i'm sure not everybody will answer all the questions )

This inquiry is very important to me, as i need the money to establish my freelancing business, which is gonna be coaching and qi-gong therapy clinic but i don't have the money for that and coaching will take a lot longer to get the money i need for this business to be established specially in Egypt!!
