What do you think about the delay factor in success?

After setting goals, write them and put them into a plan, often there is thoughts for delaying the process for different reasons.
sometimes this delay derive from weak mental muscle, and feeling of "now isn't the right time" which is the worst because it is a life killer, there is never gonna be perfect timing and there is not so much to wait till you die (basically..)
but sometimes the delay is something exterior such as need to have a phone call in a specific time, or taking some action in a specific time and place. all this are a delays one must to have but, those are often the once who you are gonna procastinate the most, means you lose momentum, you'r "muscle" become thinner, I'm interesting to know how you guys deal with it

I think the solution for this is a strong calendar, nowadays it could be done through a palm without messing with heavy paperwork, and use it for reminder, calendar - plan the days effectively, organized notes, indicate to do list with priorities, keeping knowledge and insights, and well organized. the newest manager assister is the iphone2 and referred to all of the upsides it worth the money.
