Too Negative

Post by Miracle on Wed Jun 03, 2009 5:08 am

Well myself and I have realized that I am sometimes way too negative..mostly in everything..like for example my friend was going to meet up this girl and she said but than later she said oh i "forgot" that i promised my girlfriends i would play soccer with them, and right than i was like, ah shes lying..and he's like your thinking to negative..and he's like watch this..he calls her and says, ok well can we come play soccer with you, and shes like okay, and we go meet them up, and they actually were playing soccer, hes like you see..and i realized it's true..maybe i haven't forgiven the old past memories of trusting someone and than being lied to..and now not trusting anyone..maybe it's just not only trust..but i realized i am becoming way to negative.
What Audio or video Tapes could i listen to, to help me out with this?

Miracle, there are enough materials available in our forum regarding improving your life style. Just remember the Law of Attraction. You become what you are or in other words, like thoughts attract and in your case, since you are way too cynical and negative by your own admission, you cannot expect good things to happen as frequently you want them to.

You can go on being cynical and negative but remember the world doesn't care. What good does it do then? You get branded as the guy who is always a killjoy and whom people don't want to be seen around with. Is that what you want?

Stop being negative and take things as they come. If, as I suspect, you have a low opinion of yourself, then drop that attitude. Everybody is worthwhile in some way or the other. I suggest you read the Robin Sharma book "Who will cry when you die?" It is full of small everyday things you can do to uplift yourself.

Finally remember that no amount of books can help if you don't make efforts to change.

Have a great day !

I agree with GetAhead (Welcome back mate :D )

Remember that negative people often attract negative people and in this state of yours you could attract other negative people creating for yourself a vicious circle.

Often negativity comes because you are disappointed about something in your life, the best thing you could do is to find out what it is and do something about it

Negative thoughts will not bring any good to you. So stop thinking negative thoughts and start to think positive. I suggest you use positive affirmations. Positive affirmations are a great way to build your self esteem and positive people tend to achieve more and are happier as well. Positive phrases and positive thoughts change your thinking patterns and your inner speak to create a new more confident you.

To know more about it, you can visit this site http://www.ourselfdevelopment.com/how-to-use-positive-affirmations.

Hope it can help you. :)
