I bought the book several years ago.
I read it once but I didn't have good results.
Personally I prefer classic speed reading methods(Evelyn Wood).
Probably in the future, when I'll have more time to develop the skill, I'll try to use photoreading again.

I use speed reading (with some mediocre success: it is working kind of well on newspapers and some other stuff that is easy to read and I am not really 100%ly interested in, also in the stuff which is highly repetitive - a lot of self-improvement material is :) ), and had a brief look at the photo reading course as well.

You can find a discussion on all different kinds of speed reading here
http://www.selfmadevip.com/viewtopic.php?f=54&t=897
but also notice how fast the fastest people in the world are - officially. At least the ones who dare to enter the world championship of reading. :)

If you want further evidence, take a look at the results from the 2003 Speed Reading World Championships, held in the UK:
Position

Entrant
Raw WPM Compre-
hension Effective
WPM
1st Anne L. Jones 2284 56.30% 1285
2nd Andrew Havery 1108 56.30% 623
3rd Henry Hopking 1330 45.80% 610

(see post mentioned above)

Wish it would work (better), though..

Any inputs appreciated. :)

Photo reading actually takes more time than regular reading assuming you want to have the same comprehension level for a certain piece of writing.
