OLD SMV? What happened to it?

i am sure this has been covered in other posts, but I could not find them
what happened to the old SMV I had not had the chance to check back on the site for a while and when I tried today not only did I find that my account had been deleted, but that all of the forum posts and everything had been deleted and restarted.
what happened Why were the old posts deleted along with their awesome material
sorry to be out of the loop but it definitely surprised me a lot today.

1) ALL POSTS were transferred to the new SMV
2) When the forum user-database was merged with the one from the SMV v2, those accounts which had "."(dots) or " "(spaces) in them were not recognized by the new platform and thus were deleted, hoping that the user could re-register once more. These were less than 0.1% all users. Your posts are still here, but they are marked as posted from the expired account.
