Some movies make you cry tears of joy. When the underdog in a movie has all the odds stacked against them and they triumph in victory. That to me is good crying.

The English Patient would be one of those movie. A classic love story in a world war II setting.

I respectfully disagree with vibra, crying while watching a movie depends on people's state. If they are associated with a movie it is natural to cry, if they are disassociated with the movie then crying is calling for trouble.

Saying this, i prefer to disassociate myself from movies.

Strong men usually don't cry, whether be it after waching a sad scene in a movie or a sad scene in real life. :)
