Masculinity

Post by billionairekid18 on Fri Dec 11, 2009 4:30 pm

Lately I've been feeling very whimpish and I'm not sure why. I know I've heard Anthony Robbins talk about releasing the inner masculinity or rediscovering that masculinity before but I don't remember how you actually do it. Does anybody have any suggestions? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re-discovering masculinity?

What exactly has gotten you to the point that you feel like you have lost it?
Have you felt very masculine before but now get the sense that you are losing it?

I think acting more courageously and doing more adventurous stuff is a great starting point. Why not start working out like lifting some weights or approaching girls to improve your "game"? Sure there are some books on the topic, but it seems to me taking action in the real world would be better suited right here.

AGain the question to ask yourself is:
- Have you been taking different actions lately than you have before and as a result of that you feel "whimpish"?

I would study assertivness- There are various things on this site for that that could help. Also try people like Victor Malvado. Try and get "The new masculinity" (it isnt here)

Yes i do!

Two amazing materials for you.

1 - On Being a Man by David DeAngelo. Amazing seminar, for me it was like a ritual of passage from boyishness to Manhood. It will make you think a lot, ask you many questions that will make you dig deep into your fears and anxieties, to find a amazing treasure in the end.

2 - The Way of the Superior Man by David Deida. This one was Earth-Shattering for me. It is composed by small 2-3 pages chapters. Read 3 or 4 per day, look into yourself and into your relation with your community and see what is missing.

The first one i've downloaded here in the forum. Just search

The second i upload it for you

Hope it will help. (By the way, be a helper without expect any reward is a natural true man trait, thats my quick tip) :D
