I think you are correct. I really enjoyed all AR videos and books, so I was disappointed. Glad I can get most of the stuff from this website ;) so I am not complaining, just letting everyone know what happened.

The woman that I was dealing with was so brutally direct that things are messed up with me that I think it can actually make people feel awful. Tony's management team should look into that.

Well I'm sorry to hear you were treated that way. I would agree that his team tries to sell a little to much. I felt a little overwhelmed at the UPW last month. I know he is a great guy with a great heart and I love his material.

When you listen to Anthony Robbins Tapes notice the marketing he does in the background,

He always talks about his events and how great they are.

He always speaks like that:
-we are gonna accomplish this together
or
-you and I have to...

This links HIM to your success.
Also his (you and I come from the same place) and his (let me be your friend)
do not really help you in your Personal Development but they help you buy his Products.
He´s the best Motivational Speaker I know, but also the best PD-Products seller.

Sorry for all AR-Fans, I was one myself and still am, but he is not god

I think it's not only Tony Robbins who promotes his events and seminars in his products (tapes, books, etc). All these self development/motivational speakers use this trick of promoting their other more expensive stuff through their books, tapes, etc. That is not to say their products are not good. I think books, tapes, etc have enough of material that you can use by picking parts that you 'feel' the most......the key is to internalize them till they become a part of you.....just my opinion.

Do not pay for coaching there is more then enough in their books. I call this the gap. reading and not acting. In this age of information we all have information within our reach, but we do not take action. read, focus, TAKE ACTION. We must understand the basic before advancing. I personally think coaching is bullshit. IF i get tony coaching is a different story, but his people (coaches) won t get a dollar from me.
