not sure if I get your question, but it will be different to most.
you have to find a suitable trading strategy that suits your personality and lifestyle.
e.g aggressive trader, trading daily using technical analysis etc.
i prefer trading frequently when I can, which is why forex is appealing to me unlike the stock market which is open during the day when I'm at work.
some other people may prefer trading using fundamental analysis, i.e reading company statements or trade once a week.
but dont get caught up what other people are doing, you have to play around with heaps of systems and then you will find something that works for you.
anyway, hope i answered your question.
