hello from Atlanta

Post by onegoodkat on Tue Apr 14, 2009 3:44 am

...this site is the best thing since sliced bread...

i have been looking for something like this for a while.
hello i'm a 28 year old genius in the making for years i have read the right books and listened to the right teacher. also attended the great seminars but all along missing the major piece...ACTION. just because i had the knowledge didn't mean a thing. just because i had the dream didn't make it come true. my wandering left me in a dark place of "how did i get here." then one day the owner of a wake forest yogurt shop sold me a beat up ipod. i got it because he said that he would put RICH DAD's stuff on it but he told me to listen to some guy named Jim Rohn. WOW..."5 Pieces of the Life Puzzle"... the rest is history... i'm now looking to build my value through helping others reach for their dreams. i really want to travel to the high school of america to awaken a generation to the reward of personal development. starting up mastermind clubs in public and private high schools. my desire is to inspire a few young minds in a way that i was never privileged to have experienced. this wisdom chest we call selfmadevip.com has given me the tools i need today to start the next level of my journey of reaching the youth. i am starting an online marketing business and just heard some of my leaders talk about Eben Pagan. i consider my self to be blessed to be able start off learning from a mentor's mentor like eben or dan kennedy because of SMV.

i must admit i feel like a kid in a candy store...i got a sweet tooth for wisdom.

create the life you deserve...peace :D :D

welcome, 'kat. enthusiasm is key. i have found that limiting beliefs and the addictions that often stem from them (did i mention internet porn?) are fantastic barriers to effective action. perhaps the best thing that i have learned in the last year is the power of the "outcome focus" versus, the "problem focus." our minds being exquisite cybernetic mechanisms will run and "fetch" what we spend most of our time thinking about: slippers, aggravation, peace of mind, great relationship, purpose, and maybe even wealth (i have not yet earned bragging rights on this).

the most powerful tool for recovery and self-mastery that i know of is EFT. check out the forum for EFT-related posts. download them all, but start with EFT for Dummies. it can change your life in ways that can only sound like bullshit unless you try it out yourself. send me a PM, if you'd like consultation. i am a certified practitioner with some experience.

Hey it's good to have you here OGK. I too feel like a kid in a candy store when I come on here. It's a great place with a lot of great people. This is where you want to be if you're going to be pushing yourself in life, we can help.

I know this site has been partially responsible for me taking action because I used to be missing that piece of the puzzle too. I would learn all these things and not apply any of them. Now I'm taking action and it's opened up so many new doors as I'm sure it will for you too.

I look forward to seeing more of you.
