Hey Welcome... I'm only near here as well but I had the same questions when I arrived.. Instead of me explaining and maybe getting someone a little off base, i'll direct you to the best information.

The first post is actually just 2 threads up from your post and explains how you become a SMV member to gain access to the restricted sections... It explained it well enough for me to understand.

This link http://www.selfmadevip.com/viewtopic.php?f=86&t=1984 is in the "upload offers" section and explains what the upload offers section is for... This is where you'll post your uploads for now. When you actually make the post, it actually prompts you in to type things in different fields which in the end formats the post for you... You just need to provide a picture of the product, title, description, and links to your uploads.
By what i've seen here so far, everyone uses http://www.rapidshare.com

You can upload to it without an account, but if you want to get the most out of this website, you reallllly should get a rapidshare account... It's VERY cheap, only around $5 a month if you get 3 or 4 months. Their is content all over the net hosted with rapidshare so you'll will more than get your monies worth.

The actual content you can upload Well video's, audio's, e-books etc.. If you look on the main part of the board where it shows all the different sections, you will see all the different topics of 'self help' type things so any uploads regarding those.. I'm sure I saw a section for Misc. items as well. DId not check in there, but if you've had a look around, i'm sure you're getting an idea of what's on offer here...

Edit, sorry guys, I just woke up and re-reading, realise my grammer is horrible
