My route was both hard knocks and education. I was a musician and DJ after college . . . . probably the single hardest method of attempting to create wealth . . .

I realized the hard way that the best way to create wealth is to first diversify, and second to find someone who has the lifestyle and dreams you want, figure out what they took to get it, and follow the same path. Don't reinvent the wheel.

There are a lot of methods to follow, and I could talk all day about what I have figured out so far. Now it's time to get a plan together and put it into action.

Yes that it is a tough racket to be in. A family member owned their own DJ business and would DJ all over SoCal back in the 80's.. made good money and did it right. Sometimes I filled in if they were sick. But you have to have a LOT of energy to do that full time. They went to court reporter school on the side for five years and became a court reporter. Today they make a lot more money and a more typical life.

Today it seems just a few people seem to really have a handle on what it takes to be successful as a VIP DJ in today's environment. These would be those current and ex-leaders in the ADJA for example.
