Getting out of my comfort zone

Post by Jasmine288 on Sat Nov 06, 2010 9:08 pm

A warm Hello to everyone here :)
I have never thought much of forums but after a lot of thinking and getting past the idea that I can self improve on my own I am excited to be among like-minded people.
I continuously try to develop myself and strive for success and have found not all those around me are trying to achieve those things. So as a shy person I am going to reach out to places where I can find support, answers to my questions and inspiration/motivation.
Hoping to connect and build great relationships :D

helo Jasmin , welcome aboard, perhaps one of the greatest and simplest ways to kill the shyness in you is imho 'Pizza walk' it's about you walking around stores, restaurants etc and making silly and absurd request while keeping your face straight...for example you go to a hardware store asking for pizza or hamburger...anyway the fact that you openly admits you are shy is in fact a proof that you are capable of being brave bold and assertive...what you need now is to practice it....and keep practicing...until it becomes your second nature and overflow to all areas of your life...and beware! pizzawalk can be addictive hehehe :D

Hi there Smith welcome , aboard! This may not be relevant to you, but the experience shows that in the days and weeks ahead you gonna meet with some new fascinating insights and learn amazing stuff here...and perhaps, in a few months time, you'll be sitting on your couch, thinking about the time you joined this site, thinking: 'this was the time when my life started to get richer and greater..this is the time when my horizons started to get wider and wider with each new day...my thinking improved and I got more creative and happy'...who knows....in a few months anything can happen...but the real question is how much of a good things you can stand?
