Get Control Of Your Life!

Post by developing_success on Sun Jul 27, 2008 9:44 pm

10 minutes ago i have made this, the ideas are not new, but i found them very good for my needs, maybe for your as well.
How many times we get to bed at night saying: " I haven't accomplished to much today, and i don't have anything planned as well!". Well i'm thinking of a change. I've never liked planing by time what to do daily but by urgency and importance. SO this is what i came out for now.

Write in a small agenda:

1. TO DO List (General)
and every time you need to insert a new task, insert these fields:
+Number
+Title
+Area (Personal, business, so on)
+Full Description
+Importance/Urgency (some are important but not urgent, some urgent but not important, some urgent and important or some not urgent and not important)
+Satisfaction-> if not accomplish task
-> If accomplish task -> before, in progress and after
+Reasons
+Starting Date (this is when you start not when you need to start)
+Deadline (if any)
+Progress (leave some space here, if the task is more complex, you will write the progress you made)
NOW EITHER:
+Finish Time (when you finished it)
+State (Successfully/Unsuccessfully)
If unsuccessfully:
+Further plans
OR
+Quit Date (when you decided to give up on it)
+Reasons (what where the reasons)
+Further plans

2. TO DO List Daily:
For everyday tasks like making your body strong, inserting some new better habits in life (REPETITION)
+Number
+Title
+Area (Personal, business, so on)
+Full Description
+Importance/Urgency (some are important but not urgent, some urgent but not important, some urgent and important or some not urgent and not important)
+Satisfaction-> if not accomplish task
-> If accomplish task -> before, in progress and after
+Reasons
+Starting Date (this is when you start not when you need to start)
+Progress (leave some space here, if the task is more complex, you will write the progress you made)

3. IDEAS (General, Life improvement, business, so on)
4. OPPORTUNITIES (What are opportunities you have )

Hope this will help somebody besides me
I will test it and improve were necessary.
