Boss vs Employee dialogue

Imagine that today you are hiring a new employee.
You are the boss and will have to give him/her directions in their daily work.

How would you set up the dialogue?
What would you tell the new person?
How would you "mark your terittory"? (tell what is allowed and what is not allowed)

Is the first dialogue and impression important?
